Forgetting Footnotes
The writer cites an author’s name for a source, but ignores to mention precise information on the location of the material referenced. This camouflages other forms of plagiarism by murky source locations. For example, if the student copies the second passage in his/her paper and cites that the passage is from Einstein's writings but ignores to provide the URL reference, then it would come under this type of plagiarism.
