Mohd Anwar, Visiting Researcher
Dr. Anwar joins the iSchool as a Visiting Researcher after earning his doctorate from the University of Saskatchewan in Computer Science in 2009. His role is to facilitate multi-disciplinary research projects among the faculty here at the School. Dr. Anwar’s research interests include Information Security, Information Privacy, Human-centered Security, Access Control, and Protection Mechanisms for Social Computing. He is also interested in intelligent tutoring systems, accessibility for non-sighted learners, and neural network-based learning.
Dr. Anwar has served as a Post-doctoral Research Fellow at the iCORE Information Security Lab in the Computer Science Department at the University of Calgary. He has published in the proceedings of European Symposium on Research in Computer Security (ESORICS), Data Privacy Management (DPM), IFIP Trust Management (IFIPTM), Privacy, Security, & Trust (PST), Artificial Intelligence in Education (AIED), Intelligent Tutoring Systems (ITS), and Conference on Human Factors in Computing Systems (CHI). He earned his Master’s in Computer Science at North Dakota State University and his BS in Computer Science at Winona State University, MN.
