A family reunion provided some wonderful pictures. Brittany and Joe
-- the next generation come of age. Three generation shots are always great --
here's Kelby, his dad Art and Art's Dad
Justin. My sister Meg grows more beautiful daily. Francis is the oldest son of
my oldest brother and in timbre of voice, sense of humor and
mannerisms was every bit his father's son.
Here are my brothers, sisters, and cousins. This was the first
time in more than 20 years that we had an oportunity to see our
cousin Nancy and our aunt Judy from Panama. It was also a great opportunity for the
next generation of cousins to get together and party.
My
brother Jim found a photograph of my paternal grandparents which was of
some interest since my father's mother died shortly after his birth and
his father died when he was an adolescent. Here is my namesake, Michael
Spring, with his wife, Catherine O'Brien Spring, circa 1900 -- with a little
photo magic.
Thanksgiving Dinner in 2001 was a great event. Thanks to my sister
Meg, we were able to hold it at a time that the boys and I could
be there.
During a recent vistit to my sister, I had a chance to get a couple of photos in
a wonderful evening light. Bill and Meg with Bill's parents and another three
generation photo of the Chow's with a couple
Pittsburgh Springs as interlopers.
