 Bridget
Belardi, a soon-to-be SIS graduate (August 2007), has hit
the airwaves with a hit music video – “@Your
Library.” Ms. Belardi, who is a member of the School
Library Certification Program here at SIS, crafted a music
video to promote the School Library -- featuring her students
-- at Foster Elementary School, Mount Lebanon School District.
This video has been featured on the website of the Association
for Library Services to Children (ALSC), part of the American
Library Association (ALA). Ms. Berlardi, the Media Specialist
at Foster, created a script and recruited the second graders
to showcase the library and all there is to do there. The
video is set to music by Grammy-winning singer and storyteller
Bill Harley, who composed the song especially for the Kids!
@ your library® Campaign by ALSC and ALA. Students
filmed, acted, and helped to edit the video and their enthusiasm
is more than contagious. You’ll want to enjoy
